What a great diagram. Louise can you do one for the subs bench or, more accurately, freezing our proverbials off on the touchline?
ps. Think this a more appropriate type of comment to be posted than what I've seen recently. Can everyone just chill and enjoy the football and this website.
Just realised that I haven't paid my share for the last game or am I exempt due to the fact that my lovely wife (and the captains mum) washes the strips after each game?

Although I said I was no longer going to come on this site a member of Staggs mentioned your reply and I feel I have to make a few points.

Firstly my post was written before you posted a response to my dad, I just took a long time to post it up as I stopped to have my tea. If I had seen your comment then I wouldn't have posted, as your explaination was fair enough and I did regret posting. It was when I went back online to mention this fact that I saw what Owen had posted afterwords and my other posts were in anger.

On reflection I was far too harsh and downright wrong on a lot of points, such as the main point of the new players (wrong about the keeper, harsh about the rest).

For this I apologise sincerely. But I still feel wronged at being abused for sharing an opinion for a team that at least for 90 a week, I enjoyed playing for. When on the pitch it was good to play with you all, but off the pitch we didn't see eye to eye. I truly wish you all good luck in the future and hope you win tonight, because I am not keen on the Witchery :D In saying this, the next time you all see me on the pitch willl be if I was to play against you. :D

The reason new players are in is because we have been beat everygame except one so if we want to keep on get hammered we may aswell keep the same team as before plus not everyone is available every week so we have to bring players in anyway up until now i think me cal owen decs joe and ciaran are the only players who have played everygame.

Right. I've been at work while all these ludicrous shenanigans have been going on so please excuse my tardiness.

After a couple reads of the comments I have picked up on a few points and will hence discuss them.

Firstly, I direct Mulgrew Junior towards my comment explaining why 4 new faces were brought in for tomorrow's game.

Secondly, Mike Kinsella has actually only featured in one game since he was made gaffer. Being of such sound mind as you are you will agree that this is surely no length of time for me to hand over full control to Mike, however I fully intend to hand over the reigns when he feels ready to take over as frankly he knows more about the game than anybody else I know.

As for the nit picking jiggery pokery surrounding Mr Gauson, I was in contact with him roughly 10 days ago and he said he would play, sadly since I am not in regular contact with Paddy I didn't know he had a band practice until i text him tonight. Paddy will always be welcomed to the squad with open arms and certainly features in my plans.

Regarding giving Nigel the post of gaffer, that would be a pretty poor move, primarily because he doesn't really give a toss about football and has bigger fish to fry i.e running a pub.

In response to your point about playing people we like, that actually was the whole idea behind the team. Since we were past the age of playing in a proper team Owen and I decided to make a team so we could get a regular 11-a-side game.

I won't be dignifying that dictatorship malarky with any response.

I am pretty disappointed with the way Owen has decided to handle the situation given Wullie's status as potential benefactor. For that I will be deeply regretful as his help would have been welcomed, however I feared it may have come at the price of team selection rights.

Finally, and most importantly Ciaran you are a primadona. If you kid yourself into thinking that this club isn't about playing for the very love of the game then you are in a similar mental state that you were a few years ago (I needn't drop the C bomb here). At this stage our players have to pay to play, have to buy their own kit eventually, and often turn up to stand on the touchline for 45 minutes. Really please refrain from being utterly ludicrous.

Again I'd like to apologise to Wullie for Owen's response and I'd like to reiterate that his views are not in line with mine on this issue and if there is any way to clear the air with yourself I'd be more than happy to oblige.

I'd have to say that this trite debate has only fuelled me more to win tomorrow and prove to Ciaran how much of a negative influence he is on the team and how little his deceptive and manipulative presence will be missed.

Keep the faith

JD

p.s Louise your diagram is the best thing to have happened to this site today

Much like Mulgrew Senior. I feel that this is more trouble than it's worth. I won't play for Staggs again, nor post or visit again.

For the sake of the people at Staggs who don't care about this bitching and just want to play; I wish you all the best in the future.

Owen, what particular comment was childish??

Sorry for taking an interest. I said I was interested in sponsoring the team, not that I would for certain, I wanted to see how things went and to be honest Joe's dignified reply to my post had me reconsidering, however your banal and quite disgusting comments have made my mind up. I wonder what the owner of Staggs would make of the nonsense one of the management "team" makes. I didnt take your sweets, so pack it in.

To the scum:

As usual there are always low life huns that like to try and wind me up, but as usual they dont have the balls to tell me who they are, please dont turn this blog into a orange fest. I have been arrested enough times for assaulting you dicks another wont bother me.

Sadly this is likely to turn nasty, so this will be my last post and my last visit to this site.

What a child. This is the sort of shit that is changing his mind. Abuse for pointing out how to improve. Spitting the dummy because someone questions you. Not being able to make up your mind about how to run the club. I posted earlier, not because I wasn't on the team but because again joe made a decision not to add but turned on it because you're more worried about playing people you like the most over people who can actually play. If it was up to me both you and joe would have no say and Nigel, the owner of Staggs, would manage Staggs. Or is that to bloody obvious for you?

I'm an arse for wanting to actually win a game as opposed to playing myself into the ground only for people around me to either not bother tracking back or, like yourself, play constantly out of position? What annoys me is that you have the potential to be a brilliant player but you think you are amazing because you have scored 5 goals. Yet the amout of balls that were played through the left mid in the last few games where you were meant to be that resulted in goals more than canceled out your efforts. If realising that there is more to the game than scoring goals, and if I see the game as a whole and not in TV style sections where tunnel vision rules like so many other players then I make no appologie.

As for the whole champions league pish, Staggs aren't good enough to play in ANY league. It's this sort of refusing to accept critisism in order to improve is what's dragging an already struggling team down. I hate losing. End of story. I don't care if this is just a pub team playing "for a laugh", losing 8-0, 5-3, 12-2 it doesn't matter, it's not a laugh.

Why tell probably staggs' only fan to get a life when he gives his opinion on the way things are run and ideas how to improve them? A man who, unlike yourself or joe, went to watch witchery (albeit fruitlessly) on Sunday to get an idea of how to beat them. And I take it "everyone" is you and joe then? All he done was make very accurate and valid points; like joe saying he is looking to "galvanise" the squad he has, yet playing four new players. And saying that Staggs should have some training sessions, which is also fair enough. Lastly he expressed that he was thinking about sponsoring Staggs and said to me that he would be happy to buy the strips. Yet you tell him to grow up!! If you're not kicking yourself I think Joe would want to do it for you.
