Alright, finally managed to pin down a decent fixture against the Witchery this sunday up at St Daves. Unfortunately its on astro but should be a quality game. Keeping this post brief because I’m cripplingly exhausted. Keep the faith JD

Some major developments in the footballing world in the past couple of days. Firstly the pressing on of establishing the much lauded summer league. After only managing to find 4 teams ready to aprticipate its a little poor but still proves a vital chance for VAFC to scoop some early silverware.

Howdy, everything went quiet for a bit there but after a successful gumtree ad campaign managed to pick up a couple contacts and potential games. One of the teams to get back to me was Blackhall St Columbas who play in the same league as the infamous Westerhailes Baptist Church.

Finally. After weeks of footballing disappointment ranging from a truly dire lack of fixtures, a truly mediocre string of performances from an Edinburgh team beginning with H, and disastrous cancellations I have managed to book us a good solid fixture etched into stone. However this was not without problems.

Howdy, I’ve finally returned from most rural spain, and after enjoying copious amounts of chorizo and taking in Valencia vs Sevilla im now ready for a glorious return to business. While I was away I managed to organise a fixture against Valencia Reserves at fisherrow on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
